The Swede and I were browsing thru the Sunday comics online this morning, idly talking and waking up when we both snapped to stunned attention. User Friendly was paying tribute to Douglas Adams because he… died? Douglas Adams died? This prompted a furious search of several news sites where we learned, to our sadness, that indeed Douglas Adams died.
So many people have said it and will say it when they hear the news, that it must now be echoing like a chorus thru the galaxy, reverberating off of nebulas and space anomalies. Perhaps somewhere, with tea and crumpets, in a restaurant at the end of the universe, he’ll hear:
